We are a group of IT consultants and software developers based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
By fortuity we entered into the photo-booth kiosk area.
We represent here in Puerto Rico a social media photo booth solution named: iSnap.
Also we use: photo booth solutions application.
We have several request saying that these classic photo booth solutions are boring.
The new trend is the use of virtual background, but without the use of the chroma green screen.
It is done with: RealSense, RealSense is the Intel virtual background technology using a special depth sensing camera.
Actually 2 cameras in one, 1 for the individual, 1 for the background and an IR sensor.
We have looked into this by trying to combine RealSense, with the two products with one technology.
YouCam , and photo booth solutions.
We put it to work separately by using an application called: YouCam RX.
First we select in YouCam RX the appropriate background, then bring up the photo booth application.
The YouCam application remains inaccessible in the background.
This works for a while, but it eats up the CPU processing and is unstable.
We have tried to escalate the request to join this technology to the two companies.
YouCam and Photobooth Solutions, but it seems that it is not in their path of priorities.
I’m looking into a photo-booth S/W solution that supports the RealSense technology.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I understand that you need a custom driver for the RealSense cameras that will support the background removal.
We can do it now but we will need to to order a custom development from us.

No. For now we could add this support only if you order a custom development.
